The remediation of the oil leak at the Enbridge Energy South Cass Lake pumping station is a cooperative effort between Enbridge and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Department of Resource Management (LLBO DRM).

This website presents an access point for members of the LLBO, or other interested parties, to follow the latest developments in the remediation program. It also provides communication links for asking questions as the project proceeds.
The project involves the investigation and remediation of underground crude oil contamination detected at the pumping station in 2002. The investigation phase is complete. Based on input from the LLBO DRM, Enbridge is pursuing a study of the options for site clean up.
Enbridge is committed to pursuing the project in full cooperation with the LLBO and providing timely and useful information to the public.
